AI Agents Taking Over — EA as the Guardrail

Mid afternoon … thoughts after thoughts after thoughts … the chain just keeps going 🤯💭

Fact remains: 👉 AI today is what mechanical automation was to assembly lines ⚙️🏭

We are at the verge or — rather already in — the era where AI agents are taking over software development 🤖💻 None of us can… or even wants to… hold it back.

But the challenge isn’t making software anymore. It’s deciding why it should exist — and what is truly worth building.

That means asking harder questions early: 💡 Is the “use case” I’m seeing actually a real need out there? 🧐 Have these requirements been properly challenged — or are we solving assumptions dressed up as feature requests? ⚠️ Could what we build today become technical debt for the larger ecosystem tomorrow?

And one thought keeps looping back:

At the speed AI can deliver, security must NOT be an afterthought 🔐 Every new capability is a doorway 🚪 Every doorway needs guardrails 🛡️

That my friends … is an “EA” in practice 🎯

Human intelligence now is knowing where to add value — and where to hold the line ✋✨

… don’t accept as verdict .. rather push back, challenge, question, reference own past experience that is probably never documented. We are trained to negotiate and to ask for second opinion, we must leverage those traits.
